not sure I post this but I will anyway

I am so stressed!  I spent 9 pm to 1 am in the er with my 33 yo brother.  At this point we are not sure if it was a suicide attempt or drug overdose but he was in pretty bad shape and once he was stabilized they sent him to Marquette General Hospital 2 hrs away.  Once he finally comes to he will most likely go in the psych ward.  Dealing with my agitated SIL was what got me so upset I think.  She didn't want him to go and kept fighting with me and the staff.

I hope everything works out for your brother and your family you are all in my prayers.I work in health care and find that sometimes when people feel helpless their worst behaviors come out.I am sure your sister in law will see this was the best choice for you brother.

I will be thinking of you and your brother and hoping he gets the help he needs, whether this was a suicide attempt or an accidental overdose.  Lets hope your SIL comes to her senses, otherwise she might be your brother's worst enemy-an enabler.

I'm sorry you have to deal with all of this.  Try to be patient with your SIL...no matter how wrong or annoying she might be.   Some times fighting only makes it worse, and harder for you to deal with things.

Prayers for your brother and family as you try to figure all of this out.
